My art is a depiction of things that interest me. It is the intermingling and juxtaposition of these objects in different situations or emotional entanglements that I enjoy. I also have an affinity to use everyday objects, toys from my childhood, and things I think have a unique shape. Through my paintings I enjoy showing reverence to objects in our daily lives that I believe deserve respect or attention. I think in a life as short as ours placing too much importance on the worth of a creative output is not necessary. If it is worth doing charge accordingly then be done with it. Art is a continuous evolving process and it needs to be fun. An old friend said to me once “You will never learn it all and you will die trying”. My opinion is if the process of making art is fun then do it. If it is not then be patient and let ideas unfold naturally.
